Shipping Policy

Shop online with Lighthouse Hydroponics for all of your Hydroponic gardening needs. We offer same day or next day shipping, in store pick up and courier services Australia-wide. All of our shipments are wrapped in discrete packaging and use Eco-friendly packaging materials where possible.

Every package sent includes insurance and tracking information.

Shipping cost:

All of our shipping charges are calculated on weight, dimensions and location. We are working to keeping shipping charges as low as possible, and as such do not charge handling fees.

Please note, occasionally bulky orders and pallet orders will incur additional fees due to size or weight. If this is applicable to your order we will contact you to discuss before shipping.

Our chosen shipping partners are Aus Post, Sendle and Transdirect. Using these partners we are able to assess the most affordable shipping options for your delivery, and pass the saving onto you. Please not Sendle will not deliver to P.O. Boxes. 

  • Dispatching Time:
    • Orders will be packed and dispatched only when payment has successfully processed.
    • Orders placed before 12 pm (Australian Eastern Time, Melbourne) on Weekdays, are dispatched the same day or else next working days.
  • Delivery Times:
    • Sunshine Coast area: Pick up available from our Noosaville Store, or delivery will be estimated within 1-2 working days.
    • Other areas: Standard shipping with have your package with you between 4-10 working days. Express shipping will take approximately 2-5 days CHANGE VALUES TO REAL ONES
    • All orders will require signature on delivery
  • Click and Collect: To pick up your order at our Noosaville shop, please select “Pick up from store” as your shipping option. If the item is listed as “in stock” you may come directly to the store to collect. Our store is located at 2/40 Lysaght St, Coolum Beach, QLD, 4573.

Remote customers:

  • Don’t receive shipments In your area? Or only have a PO Box? Call us to arrange a suitable shipping or collection method.

Insurance details:

  • Standard shipping: If you notice damage to your order that you believe was incurred in the shipping process, please contact us within 20 hours (time request specified by shipping partner).
  • If your item has not arrived, please contact us within 30 days from the date of placing your order to ensure it can be replaced at no additional cost to you.
  • All insurance claims are made on a case by case basis; If you have experienced a mishap with your order, please call us immediately so we can work together to find a timely solution.
  • If you have a problem outside of our opening hours, please send us the details to contact@lighthousehydro.com.au, and we will respond during the next working day.

Dangerous Goods:

Our shipping partners are unable to carry Dangerous Goods such as PH Up and Down; so these items will need to be physically collected from our Store in Noosaville. Dangerous Goods will have notices on their product page, and you will be unable to select “Shipping” as your delivery option with one of the items in your cart.

Packaging:

  • We are endeavouring to use eco-friendly and compostable mailers and packaging products. Unfortunately we don’t have an environmentally friendly pallet shipping option currently; but are hoping to engage one in the future.
  • All deliveries are covered in discrete packaging and must be signed for on delivery.
