Summers are always very hot and its the time of year we need to take precautions. As I always say 'Prevention is Better than a Cure'.
From a seedling... Seeds will germinate better when stored in a fridge. Cuttings can become difficult to strike roots and will sit there and rot.
A simple way to fix this problem is to make a mix of Fungarid and Water (1g to 1 Litre of water) in a Atomiser. Do your cutting as normal, then spray Funguard until it runs down the stems. Do this once only, this should help save 90% of them.
Grow Rooms may get hot while the light cycle is (up to 35 is ok) but your water reservoirs are best kept out of the grow room and should not get hotter than 24c. This will prevent most of the root diseases. So a Water chiller or blocks of ice will help with that problem.
If you are situated in warmer climates like QLD, the humidity is very high and a Dehumidifier is a must. Lots of sizes instore.

A Climate Controlled environment is the way to go with Air-conditioners. Once you seal a room you must add CO2, there's a few ways to go about this. Mushroom Bags are the easiest way to increase your CO2 with a 6 month slow release. An alternative, the Pro-Leaf CO2 Controller and Regulator Kit will keep constantly on the level you want to set. If kept at 1200-1500 PM it may increase your harvest to 40% more without the extra cost of the power and lights.
Hygiene is most important in Summer. The warmer it gets the more problems with diseases, so a super clean room is best, A good old fashioned organic product Micro Kill works well with killing Bacteria, Fungus and Mildew.
Keep your Roots healthy with Flairform Pythoff. At 2ml per 10 Litres of Nutrient Solution once a week for maintenance. If there is a problem use twice a week for 2 weeks and then back to once a week.
You have a plant Wilting? The best thing to use is Fungarid at 1ml per 1 Litre of Water. Just 250ml of this solution should save your plant. If not at 100% after 2 weeks repeat once more.
